Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian signs a formal agreement on Saturday (June 3), with 25 service providers, ensuring that the guarantee letters (GLs) from the DSWD will be recognized and accepted by hospitals and funeral homes.

Under the signed Memorandum of Agreement, clients who secured a GL through the DSWD’s Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program, will be accommodated by the partner service providers and will be given the needed medical services and procedures as stated in the letter.
